May 24, 2012 - are you insane? Mustang GT is lazy. There is no way american v8 can ever dream of whipping an german v8. cubic for cubic the germans beat the americans on horsepower every single time, not to say the perfect balance on the BMW m3. The Mustang uses dinosaur old suspension setups.

May 11, 2012 - you think the car would have the advantage due to the wet weather...but it was a surprise to me! when your leaning on the bike as you go through the corner theres nothing like the feeling of that... it's just you and the bike communicating with each other can you giving it what she needs. one guess i have as to how the bike won the race was that if you know your bike so well and you can feel every bump there is then you can bring it up to the racers edge.

Feb 17, 2012 - i agree, the only thing i would add to your comment is that the weight of the ride makes a big difference to the bike, meaning that if a rider of 90kg on a 600cc the bike will not move as fast as it should and rider of 60kg on 1000cc wont have the weight need to "muscle the bike around" in other words pick the right bike for you! a small person on a 600 can beat someone on 1000cc!
MultiFireblade1000 Says:
Dec 13, 2011 - I should point out that in this race with this kind of twisty track, it wouldn't take a 1000cc to beat the car, even any japanese 600cc sportsbike should beat this M3, but it would take a few extra laps to catch up to the car. Almost all 1000 cc sportsbikes achieve the same laptimes on the track, the BMW has a very advanced traction control that enables riders to make mistakes and gives you the consistency to win races.
MultiFireblade1000 Says:
Dec 12, 2011 - In this case, the M3 didn't stand a chance! the bike must have been doing 3 to 5 seconds a lap faster than the bike. But all 1000 cc like Honda CBR fireblade - Ducati 1198, Aprillia rsv4, Yamaha R1, GSXR1000, Kawasaki ninja ZX10, achieve laptimes of less than 1000s of a second a lap time difference in a 20 lap race, depending on riders skill. check WSBK superstock racing lap times.

Sep 26, 2011 - If a Mustang GT can spank an M3 around the track, I'm not surprised a bike can spank it also.

Sep 10, 2011 - I put the only thumbs down but i liked it, just not 100%, you see

Aug 16, 2011 - what is the name of the rock song?...in the race

Jul 28, 2011 - I really didnt think that was going to work well for the M3 lol
lolshatter Says:
Jun 30, 2011 - that track isn't curvy at all, obviously a bike is gonna beat a car in a drag race
AnPrellus Says:
Jun 18, 2011 - If i saw the wet race track, i thought the m3 will beat the rr without any problems. But i was disabused ;-) Also you have always to note the vehicle you drive is only so good who the driver...
MrKazakh777 Says:
Jun 7, 2011 - of course bike, because it's more lighter than m3
Xynrex Says:
May 14, 2011 - We all the knew the outcome of that vid....right outta the factory the RR is all race bred..I'd like to see the M3 lose 600 lbs or so of "luxury" ditch those mediocre OEM brakes and find itself 7psi of BOOOST...then Repeat
