Dec 21, 2011 - Oil money only financed the infrastructure. All the rest was banks and constructors like Emaar. Makhtoum and his idiots decided to work on the infrastructure at the same time as the buildings were going up. Thats why the traffic was so horrendous. Abu Dhabi dealt with the infrastructure first. Much better plan.
Dec 21, 2011 - they made al that money with oil, but they run out of it soon, so they invested their money in al these buildings to attract tourist and rich real estate buyers.
Because of the world wide crisis, the world project dropped into the water litteraly,
and loads of bussinessmen left the country as a thief in the night and leave everything behind they owned, like lot's of expencive abandoned cars who collecting dust al over dubai.
Dec 15, 2011 - Last time when I saw these islands (2 years ago) there was only 1 occupied and other sinking. As I understand, the firm that was running the project got bankrupt or messed up its PR and end up leaving the project unfinished. It looks quite ugly at the moment, you can't even recognise "Earth", it is just of ugly odd-shaped sand islands. Epic fail apparently...

Dec 1, 2011 - it has to do with the barrels of crued we buy cause thats why we pay so much more..and then we pay at the Pumpms..But i do believe its all a scam by our Goverments cause crued has fallen and is cheaper than a year ago and prices are even higher ..there is alot more of us than there are of them..To vbad the Occupy hippies did not go there for this reason rather than the confused reason they are clueless to right now..they are taking back the Gold to gain more control over us.
