May 24, 2012 - we aren't in Iraq any more we are in afghanistan. Well we are there but we are just in police bases observing. We aren't doing any more operations that were like Falluja.
May 23, 2012 - Bush is a moron. The only way he got into office is with his check book. When you go to the polls in November, and I truly hope you do, remember 911 and how the republicans kept us safe on THAT DAY!
May 18, 2012 - How about you write your Senator on our behalf instead of murmuring to an invisible friend. I think that might get my buddies and I out of this war a lot quicker.
May 7, 2012 - War is a God awful thing. Don't blame the soldiers who are willing to sacrifice their lives in order to protect us. Thank them. Blame leadership that can't find another way. Blame it on our own human brokenness. Blame it on our own consumption, Blame it on those in power who would rather kill than compromise. Work and pray to make it better and try to create a world where no one picks up a weapon to harm another. It starts in each of us- we are all the fools to make war on our brothers in arms.
May 6, 2012 - Not saying that I'm any better than you, but if you contributed to the Iraq and afghanistan war in any way shape or form, you take some responsibility. Everyone takes responsibility. All my message is getting at is not to finger point and blame one specific group, and it's not meant to be an insult. However, you seem to think that all soldiers should be immune from criticism. How come? And I never said just soldiers killed children. We all did. Through taxes, orders, or pulling the trigger.
May 4, 2012 - played football for 10 years and my IQ is most likely higher than yours. I am also serving in the US military, and I take a lot of offense to people saying that "soldiers kill innocents." I get the fact that you're being hyperbolic, but that is still insulting.
May 2, 2012 - Don't forget, civilians also don't have to waste so much oil that there's incentive to invade Iraq in the first place. We're all murderers.
May 1, 2012 - I say curse everyone. Not trolling at all, we're all to blame for these wars. Who orders the soldier's to do bad? THE POLITICIANS, who carries out immoral orders without question killing innocents, THE SOLDIERS, who elects those politicians and puts them into power, THE CIVILIANS. I think we've all pretty much put an m16 up to some child's face, and pulled the trigger, only the rest of us don't have to see, the murder and pain we caused.
Apr 29, 2012 - In times of peace sons bury their fathers. In times of war fathers bury their sons. No man should ever have to bury their child. Rest peacefully our fallen heroes. Omnes grandinem gloriosus mortuis! (All hail the glorious dead!)
Apr 28, 2012 - No they (the press) often forgets to mention when we do well at anything. It is sad but our one time free press is no better than the old Pravda. There are a number of people not awake enough to see it. They are a major problem. I just hope enough wake up because we are in trouble and the press, our leaders they keep piling it on hoping to bury the country in trouble to an end they want and we do not want to see
Apr 28, 2012 - Yep, once Cronkite made his ignorant remarks after Tet that was the beginning of the end. The worst thing is that we never lost a battle and Tet was a failure militarily for the VC and NVA, but the press would not relent. Funny, how the press said nothing about the thousands of villagers in Hue that were killed by their own people.
