May 22, 2012 - Those who critique the movie for it is "boring", and the boy "annoying" and bringing up the hyprocrisy and manipulation of the 911 event through the movie, you clearly do not understand the movie at all. It is a movie about a boy with Asperger's syndrome(google it if you dont know what im talking abt) trying to make sense of the world, make sense of things that seem illogical to them (like death). Its about stepping out of yr comfort zone, facing your fears, a soulful learning journey.

May 18, 2012 - I was disappointed. I thought the film was unrealistic, poorly written, and slow. I couldn't imagine any mother letting her child with autism wander around New York City alone by himself. Despite this, I thought the acting was amazing, and the child actor - Thomas Horn - did an amazing job, but I couldn't get over how unrealistic the story was and how bad the writing was.
