Feb 24, 2010 - They kind of ruined the back of the bike. The square tail pipes seem like they are foreign to the back of the bike, contrary to the round pipes of the previous version. They also retracted the seat are a bit and the result is that it shows more of the exhaust... The previous version had a cleaner design. I really like, however, the restyling on the front. Love the new headlight and also the new speedometer.

Nov 23, 2009 - still the r1 lapped a more than a second faster than the 1198S in the motousa track comparison. the cbr1000rr was over 3 seconds faster and has already beaten the 1098R in a sportrider test, . the k9 gsxr1000 has not lost a single test to the ducati either =) so while ducati has nice racebikes, the japanese still make the best bikes we actually buy. Not to mention cheaper, more reliable, more aftermarket support and more potential.

Avevo una Ducati, un semplice MOnster 620 i.e. dark, la base della base, eppure in Ducati sembrava di esser coccolato come un miliardario... Inviti, telefonate, assistenza, soccorso stradale gratuito... 33.000 km in 3 anni senz aproblemi... Ho preso una Brutale 910 appena uscita nel 2006, niente assistenza, pezzi passata in garanzia dal concessionario, niente inviti, niente, zero...
