May 16, 2012 - Thats the only non jap bike I would buy if i had the money lol. Kawasaki all the way though! Cant wait til Fast bike release the full 2012 test between the 1000cc bikes. 2012 ZX-10 gonna take it! The fast bike magazine i have right now only compared the new s1 to the 2011 zx. It barely came out better but thats fine. 2012 zx had some upgrades done to it as well. So it'll once again beat the bmw. Its gonna eat the F4 up lol.

May 15, 2012 - what type of engine is tis?it really sounds crisp...i mean i can feel each piston...the feel seems to be excellent!!!please some1 explain the engine type.....

Toddmars Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - couple reason bro! the bmw s1000rr is rated at 193hp at the crank, the MV F4 1000rr is making 201hp at the crank. Which is ok, but the bmw actually manages to make somewhere around 185hp at the rear tire! which is obsurde for a non motoGP bike! but thats not all, the bmw have a better power/to weight ratio better than the bugatti veyron, thats why its still the fastest production bike in the world! The Mv weighs about 408lbs. so its porky. SIDE NOTE, ducati 1199 s weights 380lbs w/195hp at crank

RTiger18 Says:

Apr 12, 2012 - So why they still sayiing the BMW is still the most powerful bike if this is pushing over 200bhp? Based on the stock hp numbers, the s1k is pushing out like 180-190 with slip ons which is the same as the new zx10. if fact the new 10 pushed out 196 with a slip on. thats 6 over so what the f? Oh well it dont matter. Kawasaki forever but this bike is sweet^_^

Apr 11, 2012 - @chorth1 true, but you're also losing half the valve and piston work of this. The panigale is one of my favorite bikes too though.

chorth1 Says:

Apr 4, 2012 - Better like the look, the lower weight and the caracter (aka sound) of the L-Twin on the Ducati Panigale 1199s....

Mar 31, 2012 - in my opinion this bike doesn't quite make it. alright it looks awesome and has a fuck load of hp. but the main thing is it doesnt feel like theres a grunt, its too smooth, its sound doesn't scream high enough on top rpm and just wouldn't stand out on the race track. thats probably why its not used in bsb or wsb but definately i would go for the bmw. its just got the whole package.

Feb 16, 2012 - I've been riding my friends 600cc race bike so I have some experience, and it's another 3 or 4 years until I'm off my P's.

me2ontube Says:

Feb 16, 2012 - don't buy this bike until you get more experience - buy something old and cheap for now then later you can spend big money on something nicer

Jan 26, 2012 - if the braking power is too strong people will fly over the bike, and remember that not all the owners of this kind of superbikes have the skills to ride it to it´s limits

RETICS1 Says:

Jan 16, 2012 - 4 dislikes??,, must be guys regretting buying their BMW

Chrispy4949 Says:

Jan 15, 2012 - Because ceramic brakes don't work very well in the wet, not on bikes anyway. That's why if you watch Moto GP or WSB in the rain they change the ceramic discs to steel ones. Oh and they cost something like £2000 each!! So that would take the bikes price through the roof.

secretspyfrog Says:

Jan 12, 2012 - Yep! the 1198 is also cheaper.Nice if you have 18,000 to spare though!
