bsrules Says:

May 18, 2012 - True that, still, a guiter was not origianlly made for drumming, still a acoustic guitar can do a single drum beat, ain't gonna work well with a electric guitar tho. Ok then, rap and techno can be called music as much as you want, tho rock and metal is what i will call much, much better music. Now then, is it just me who tires of these arguments?

Aaron Greiner Says:

May 18, 2012 - Simmons for pres.

stonetheforbidden Says:

May 17, 2012 - You're stating your opinion as fact, though, and therefore it makes you look rather pompous. Regardless, your argument about instruments is severely flawed. Any instrument that we have today was inspired by everyday objects. What's to say that just banging on a guitar case can't be a drum? And have you seen garbage bands?

Duels45 Says:

May 17, 2012 - Kiss rocks

bsrules Says:

May 17, 2012 - Agreed, shouldn't argue and compain about each others likes and opinions, let's enjoy what we enjoy, and ROCK HARD

bsrules Says:

May 17, 2012 - I decide myself what is called music or not, i don't demand other people to follow my opinion, what you see there is only my opinion, not a demand to others to have the same, if they choose to share the opinion, then let them! And besides, "musical instruments" was made for the purpose of creating music, whereas computers was originally not, everyone should know that. Thus my expression that rap and techno ain't "real" music, of course, it can be called music if you really want to.

stonetheforbidden Says:

May 17, 2012 - You don't get to decide what's considered music or not. It it's a piece of audio with a beat that people like to listen to, then it's music, regardless of the source material. What's bullshit is you trying to make stupid claims on the basis that you're more intelligent to those that are enjoying themselves with songs that you don't like.

bsrules Says:

May 15, 2012 - Let me rephrase that a little. "Musical instruments" was actually made for musical purposes, whereas computers where not, they was merely created as tools for calculation and informative use, more text saved over less physical space, simulations. Still, metal, rock, rap, techno, speaking...it's only noises no matter the source.

TheHawkdaddy Says:

May 15, 2012 - But realize how you said you didn't like it. "Fuckers, rap ain't music, neither is techno." Now if you had just said "I don't care for rap or techno, I prefer physical instruments to digital ones," this argument would have never happened. The way you said comes off as ignorant and hostile. It rubbed me the wrong way.

bsrules Says:

May 15, 2012 - that i know, doesn't mean i'm supposed to like it. but as it seems we're not getting anywhere with our arguing, so why don't just stop it and enjoy the music we like? that's even easier :D

TheHawkdaddy Says:

May 15, 2012 - I refuse, you have insulted music that is personal to me for bullshit reasons. You know why they use digital instruments? Because it gives them ways to explore and create sounds not possible with physical instruments. We can now make music with no limitations and you attack that. With Rap it makes mixing and mastering easier. But you wouldn't know that, because to you are too busy trying to be applauded for being ignorant. People like you stop music from evolving.
