Aug 27, 2011 - man it sucks in New Zealand that BMW 1000rr costs like 28,000 NZD which is about 23,541 USD and a yamaha r1 is about 24,000 NZD I brought my Suzuki gsxr600 k7 2 hand but was basically brand new and it costed me 12,000 NZD which is 10,089 USD and brand new they are 18,000 NZD bikes are so overpriced here

Aug 27, 2011 - yea the prices are very stiff and considering it is a BMW it's likely to stay like that for some time. But you do get a lot of goodies for the price under the premium package. When I saw previews of this bike in 2008 I thought it would cost more than a Ducati 1098S. But considering you are a Kawi Fan and you don't want to spend too much OTD. The Ninja is the best price/joy benefit.

Aug 26, 2011 - Mark, I think this should be in the running with your future sport bike ( ZX10R). I saw one of these in my neighborhood. In my honest non-biased opinion, I believe this could be better than the Ducati 1198. I like this bike with the BMW's Motorsports color scheme. If you don't too spend too much money, then the ZX10R is the best choice.
