May 23, 2012 - "and then you consume this" hahaha it's like you're not even eating real food

madisonelectronic Says:

May 22, 2012 - Can't eat more than 20 White Castles with extra onions (whitey one bites, gut bombs, terrible tinys, misery biscuits) without farting. Guess where the chef goes after work? He meets Bourdain and goes to Burger King!hahahahahaa

Apr 5, 2012 - when they say 2:36 "breaking down food to its subatomic state"... I can imagine it's healthy.

ingetout Says:

Feb 28, 2012 - The point everyone is trying to make is that the food philosophy is wrong. There is no sense in carmelizing a creme brulee with a laser when a blow torch will do. Chefs like Heston Blumenthal and Ferran Adria use MG to twist a dish to either extract the most flavour or change the perception of a dish. He's the guy who has a 80' TV but no cable. Also name dropping NASA makes him look like a douche.

Jan 19, 2012 - There are truly amazing and inspirational culinary creations, and now this same science is starting to pop up in craft cocktail bars around the world. Keep up the great innovations Moto!

Jan 6, 2012 - Small plates personified. Rich people are stupid, as are the elitists. Have the same experience at White Castle. Just eat only one.

ts404 Says:

Dec 29, 2011 - Its not an uncommon thing although some chefs do not consider Molecular Gastronomy as "cooking".

Higgins2001 Says:

Dec 27, 2011 - Moto uses food to show off molecular gastronomy. Alinea uses molecular gastronomy to show off food. This is why the latter has 3 stars, and the former has one.

Jul 28, 2011 - This is ridiculous! No doubt that it's overpriced either! Molecular gastronomy is really cool and it could aid in the cooking experience. I really enjoy seeing things like this being incorporated in cooking, but this is taking it way too far. One of my favorites is from Molecule-R with balsamic spheres and mozzarella in a small, hollowed out tomato for instance. I just can't imagine a whole meal based only on this, though.
